WHAT IS GO DO STUFF?
Go Do Stuff is a bulletin board for the University of San Diego. People post things they would like to do with somebody else; those posts are called sidequests.
Looking for people to make dumplings? Want to learn watercolor? Need a bassist? Want company for a game? Put it on the board. If somebody is interested, they send you their name and contact information. From there, you figure it out yourselves.
That is deliberately about as much as the site does. There are no profiles to browse, matching system, schedules to fill out, or in-app chat. Go Do Stuff makes the possibility visible and gives somebody else a way to say, “I’d do that.”
It is easier to meet around a thing than around the abstract idea of meeting people. “Want to make dumplings?” gives two strangers somewhere to begin. “Want to be friends?” does not.
If nothing immediately comes to mind, the Ideas page gives you a board of questions meant to shake loose things you might want to learn, make, try, teach, visit, or do with somebody else. Pick whichever one catches and turn the answer into a sidequest.
Sidequests stay up indefinitely by default. Someone may want to do the same obscure thing you wanted to do months ago, and bad timing should not be the reason a good idea disappears.
If something really does have a deadline—a concert, a trip, an event—you can give it an expiration date. Otherwise, the board leaves the possibility open. Older sidequests sink as newer activity happens; if somebody responds to one later, it becomes active again and rises toward the top.
Browsing is public. Posting or responding requires a University of San Diego @sandiego.edu email address. There are no user accounts or passwords.
When you respond, the poster receives your name, verified USD email address, optional phone number, and optional message. From there, you contact each other normally.

Go Do Stuff is not a dating app. Do not use it for sexual solicitation. If you meet your beloved here, great. But just start with the tide pools or something.
